The U.S. EPA is sponsoring a free, one-day workshop for drinking water and wastewater utilities entitled “Introduction to Cybersecurity: Workshop and Response Exercises.” This workshop will introduce you to the cybersecurity threat, highlight the results from on-site cybersecurity assessments conducted at Virginia waterworks, and explain/demonstrate the free cybersecurity resources and tools available for your utility. In the afternoon, two facilitated response exercises will be conducted that present realistic cyber threat scenarios, allowing all participants to talk through the actions they would take in response to the threats. Water-sector information technology staff and managers are highly encouraged to attend this workshop.
This one-day cybersecurity workshop is coming near you. The workshop will be conducted at the Eden Prairie Community Center, Eden Prairie, MN on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the Cambria Room.
